Watch: Waterspout spins just outside Tacoma-area home
New video has surfaced of a waterspout that was spawned during our two day period of thunderstorms in mid-October.
This video, taken from a home in Browns Point near Tacoma on Oct. 12, shows what appears to be a waterspout forming right off the beachfront. (The photographer, Daniel McClung, asked that I remove the audio):
The waterspout formed as an intense thunderstorm developed over Kitsap County and moved across Puget Sound into the Tacoma area:
And it came on the heels of a waterspout outbreak over the San Juan Islands the day before.
