ISS shows stunning video of Northern Lights after passing over Northwest

Screen capture off a time lapse video posted by the European Space Agency of the Northern Lights over North America.

SEATTLE -- The Upper Midwest was treated to a spectacular view of the Northern Lights on Sept. 15, but you know who even had a better view?

The astronauts on the International Space Station.

The European Space Agency just published this time lapse video by their astronaut Paolo Nespoli of one of the ISS's passes over the Pacific Northwest into southern Canada during a particularly brilliant display of the aurora.

If you freeze frame the video near the beginning, you can get a great shot of the night lights of the Pacific Northwest. Can you pick out all the towns like Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Spokane and the Tri-Cities?
