SEATTLE - Seahawks team members will wear their neon-bright "Action Green" uniforms for only the third time in team history during their upcoming Monday Night Football home game against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Seahawks won in both previous games in which they wore the gaudy garb.

The "Action Green" duds debuted two years ago, when the team earned a 24-3 home win over the Los Angeles Rams. The second time came during the 2017 season, when the Seahawks toppled the Cardinals 22-16 in Arizona.

Monday night's game against the Vikings will mark the first time Seattle will wear Action Green against a non-NFC West opponent.

Not everyone is a fan of the flashy uniforms - but team members seem to like them.

"It shows that we’re different,” wide receiver Doug Baldwin said when the Seahawks first unveiled their all-green look, according to the franchise's website. "We’re a different team. We’re a different animal. When you put on this jersey, when you put on these colors, you represent the Seattle Seahawks, and that means something."
