Watch: 'Demon at the Door: Our Heroin Crisis'

For eight months, KOMO News investigated the heroin crisis in Seattle.

Thursday night, it aired this Eric Johnson documentary, "Demon at the Door: Our Heroin Crisis."

He calls it shocking, devastating and unflinchingly real.

"For the better part of a year we've been working on this program. We've been in alleyways and homes and police cars and assorted incarnations of hell on earth. We've peered into the darkness of heroin addiction, looking for answers, truth, and yes, humanity," Eric Johnson says.

"It will hurt to watch this. But I believe it is very important. Watch with your children. You owe it to them. Because looking the other way is no longer an option."
