Seattle's new mayor weighs in on Lauer firing

SEATTLE -- New mayor Jenny Durkan has been in office less than a day and has already signed two Executive orders. The first was a rental housing assistance program to help lower income families. She also signed another order requiring the city to review its race and social justice initiatives and see who is being left out of the city's work force.

Mayor Durkan joined Manda Factor and Gregg Hersholt on the KOMO Morning News., and she talked about her new job, as well as the firing of NBC's Matt Lauer, which was announced Wednesday morning. (Click the picture above to hear the audio).
