First Study Results on Mental Trauma Caused by Las Vegas Shooter
SEATTLE -- It’s been less than eight weeks since the mass shooting in Las Vegas and the first research on the mental trauma suffered by those at the Route 91 country music festival has been completed.
Psychology professor Stephen Benning, a researcher at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, collected personal accounts from both those who attended the concert near the Mandalay Bay hotel and visitors to Las Vegas who were not in the line of fire.
On the KOMO Midday News (weekdays 1-3pm), Prof. Benning shared the results and how he interpreted them. (Click the picture above to hear the audio).
