The forecast is for sunshine today with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Friday will be a few degrees warmer around western Washington. More places will reach the magic 80-degree mark.

As we head into the weekend, the onshore flow will be stronger. That will bring cooler temperatures for Saturday and Sunday. Highs will drop back to the upper 60s and lower 70s. There will even be areas of morning low clouds and fog both days.

For the holiday on Monday, you will get to your sunshine a bit more quickly. That will increase temperatures to the low to mid 70s. We don’t expect any organized rain showers for the holiday weekend.

Next week will bring partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid to upper 70s.

There will be a chance of thundershowers popping up over the Cascades all next weekend. Some of those showers may drift over the foothills in the afternoon.
