DELAWARE, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) - An Ohio postal worker was indicted by a grand jury for allegedly pleasuring himself while on the job.

The indictment says 52-year-old Joseph Rice of Westerville masturbated while in his mail truck in Genoa Township on Dec. 4, 2017.

Delaware County Prosecutor Carol O'Brien said Rice was spotted by a woman and her young daughter while they were taking an afternoon walk.

“The mother reports that the door of the vehicle was open, and she could see Mr. Rice inside, holding a cell phone with one hand and appearing to masturbate with the other," said O'Brien.

Rice was charged with public indecency, a felony of the fifth degree. O'Brien said Rice has previously been convicted or pleaded guilty of two similar violations in 2002 and 2006.

An arraignment had yet to be set.
