SAMMAMISH, Wash. -- Missing a cell phone? Perhaps some lifting weights?
That was among the many items found at the bottom of Lake Sammamish this week.
The King County Sheriff's Office Marine Rescue Dive Unit found gobs of trash lining the lake's floor during monthly dive training and decided to do a little cleanup.
Most of the trash involved cans and bottles that were apparently tossed or dropped overboard. But photos from the divers' haul showed a No Trespassing sign, a plastic salad bin, a pair of 25 pound weights...and three cell phones.
