VANCOUVER, Wash. – A wrong-way driver ran off from a crash scene on SR-14 in Vancouver on Sunday morning, emergency responders said.

The other two drivers involved in the collision had some minor injuries.

The crash was reported about 6 a.m. Sunday when a driver started heading east in the westbound lanes. They crashed into two other vehicles under the I-205 overpass.

After the crash, the wrong-way driver fled the scene on foot, Vancouver Fire Department officials said.

The driver eventually returned to the scene and was taken to Peace health Southwest Medical Center for an evaluation. No word on whether they will face any charges for the crash.
