Woodinville skier found dead at Stevens Pass

STEVENS PASS, Wash. -- A 55-year-old man from Woodinville was found dead Thursday morning at the Stevens Pass Nordic Center.

It's not known if the skier died of trauma or a medical issue. He was not identified.

The incident occurred on the lower part of Pegasus Trail in the Mill Valley side of Stevens Pass Mountain Resort. Stevens Pass Ski Patrol was contacted at 10:30 a.m. when witnesses found the man unresponsive and not breathing. An off-duty emergency room nurse started CPR. Ski Patrol arrived at 10:34 a.m.
