Walking in a Winter Wonderland-- light snow visits on Christmas Eve
SEATTLE -- Seattle snow fans must have made the "nice list" as light snow graced much of the region on Christmas Eve.
Most snow totals were just around a dusting by early evening, but snow was expected to continue at times through the night.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for all of Western Washington, except for the coast, through about mid Christmas morning. Generally speaking most area are looking at about a Trace -2" of snowfall, with some spots above a few hundred feet and along the Cascade foothills and Kitsap County that could reach 3 inches.
Snow will taper off Christmas morning with clearing late in the day. Highs will reach the mid-upper 30s.
Dry and chilly weather will hold into Tuesday then perhaps more flurries are possible later Tuesday night.
