What mask can I get for wildfire smoke?

A mask could be good way to beat the effects of wildfire smoke in the Puget Sound area, especially in places with the worst readings.

The Washington State Department of Health recommends two types of mask to keep from inhaling the smoke: N95 and N100. You can pick them up at local hardware stores.

Those are 'particulate respirators' and they're especially useful if you have to work outdoors.

Make sure you use one that has two straps and keep in mind that they will not filter out hazardous gasses.
