RENTON, Wash. - A Renton Police officer was seen showing off his dance moves at a the Fabulous 4th of July celebration at Gene Coulon Park on Wednesday.

Officer Michael Walker was patrolling the event when he was feeling the groove and then got pulled in to a dance circle. He decided to make the best of it and join in the fun.

Officer Walker is a member of the Renton Police Department's Directed Enforcement Team (DET). The team patrols the city's parks, trails and downtown area on bicycles and works to engage with the community and improve relations between the public and law enforcement.

No word yet if Officer Walker will consider teaching dance lessons.
