FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Two men were killed overnight when their car crashed into several trees at high speed in Federal Way, ripping the car in half and ejecting them.

Police and medics responded to the scene, at SW 320th Street and 10th Place SW, at about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday after receiving reports of a serious accident.

When first responders arrived they found a car sheared in half and debris scattered across the roadway and sidewalk.

South King Fire & Rescue said speed was a likely factor in the crash. Both men in the car were ejected by the force of the impact and were found near one half of the vehicle.

The two men were believed to be in their 20s.
