SEATTLE - Police say an elderly driver lost control of a van and crashed through a condo building in North Seattle Wednesday evening.

It happened just before 6:00 p.m. on N. 105th St., near Holman Rd. and Greenwood Ave. N.

Multiple fire trucks and medics responded to the scene.

People who live at the building said they heard a loud noise followed by a cloud of dust.

"I was just watching TV then I heard a loud crash and I looked back and there was a lot of dust flying out of my hallway," said Andrew Bending, a resident of the condo building. "At first I thought my laundry room blew up. I opened the door and there's a van sitting in our entrance way."
