LACEY, Wash. – Three teens were injured and a part of I-5 was shut down after a crash possibly involving alcohol.

Washington State Patrol troopers say the crash happened in Thurston County not far from Lacey around 5:20 Thursday evening.

The vehicle, a gray 2005 Acura, was driving on I-5 north of milepost 114 on the right shoulder. There were four Centralia teens in the vehicle, which an 18-year-old boy was driving.

Inside the car was two other boys, 16 and 17 years old, along with an 18-year-old girl.

Troopers say the driver crossed all lanes of traffic, left the roadway and ended up coming to a rest on the shoulder.

All three of the boys were injured in the crash but the girl was said to okay.
