Suspect accused in shooting death of SeaTac motel clerk arrested in Ohio

SEATAC, Wash. - The suspect accused in the shooting death of a motel clerk in SeaTac late Friday night has been arrested in Dayton, Ohio, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators said the 26-year-old man allegedly robbed and shot the clerk at the America's Best Value in the 20600 block of International Blvd. S. Deputies found the clerk laying on the floor of the motel office with a gunshot wound.

Deputies said the 40-year-old clerk was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he died.

King County Sheriff's detectives will be flying to Ohio to continue their investigation and extradite the suspect back to Washington state to face charges.
