PUYALLUP, Wash. - A busy highway entrance ramp was closed for two hours Monday after a street sweeper crashed and rolled over, the Washington State Patrol reports.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, the on-ramp from east Highway 512 to Highway 161 shortly before noon after receiving reports of a serious crash.
A wrecked street sweeper was found at the scene. The driver sustained minor injuries.
A preliminary investigation found that the driver experienced a medical emergency, which caused the rollover crash, said Trooper Brooke Bova of the State Patrol.
The on-ramp reopened by 2 p.m.
