Snoqualmie Pass, dressed in white, doesn't know it's May

SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. -- Spring forgot the Cascades on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory late Tuesday morning, predicting 2 to 4 inches of snow at Stevens and White passes through the afternoon. Snoqualmie summit could get 1 to 2 inches.

Down in Oregon, Mount Hood had a "powder day" as 6 inches of snow fell Monday and Tuesday. Skiers and snowboarders were pleased.

But this spate of winter will be brief. Temperatures may reach into the 60s later in the week in Snoqualmie Pass.

In fact, we're all in for warm temperatures and sunny weather.
