SEATTLE -- The National Weather Service Seattle is reporting that smoke has returned to the Seattle area.

Local air quality remains at good-moderate. According to the Weather Service, the smoke is coming from the south this time and will stick around in the air today.

The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency said the smoke is from Oregon fires.

"Oregon wildfire smoke moves into the Puget Sound at higher altitudes giving us a hazy sunrise and the potential to degrade air quality and visibility. Marine flow should bring cooler temps and cleaner air to surface and keep our air quality GOOD to MODERATE. We will continue to monitor the surface conditions closely and update as needed."

It is unclear yet if the smoke will stay throughout the week.
