Shooting in Seattle's Lake City neighborhood sends man to hospital

SEATTLE — A shooting in Seattle's Lake City neighborhood left one person injured early Tuesday morning.

The shooting occurred near 30th Ave NE and NE 127th St around 1:30 a.m.

According to fire crews, a man approximately 37 years old was taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition, with a gunshot wound in his chest.

Detectives said the shooting followed an ongoing dispute between the victim and a known suspect who lives at a nearby encampment.

No arrests have been made thus far.
