SHELTON, Wash. - Highway 101 is partially blocked Tuesday near Shelton after a semi truck rolled over and crashed, the Washington State Patrol reports.
Troopers and medics responded to the scene, near the north Shelton city limits, at about 11:20 a.m. after receiving reports of a serious crash involving a big rig.
The semi was found on its side along the roadway. The semi driver was not injured.
A preliminary investigation found that a pickup truck lost its load on the highway and the semi swerved to avoid it, then rolled over, said Trooper Chelsea Hodgson of the State Patrol.
Alternating traffic is in effect at the scene until further notice.
