BLEWETT PASS, Wash. - The driver of a semi truck was a eating a taco Wednesday afternoon when he lost control and spilled a load of bark along Blewett Pass, according to Washington State Patrol trooper Brian Moore.

This is the second time this week that a semi truck has crashed and spilled its load along the pass.

This time, it was a load of bark that was dumped all over Highway 97 when the semi ended up in a ditch about noon Wednesday.

Troopers and cleanup crews responded to the scene, where two lanes were blocked by the mess. The road lanes are now open.

On Monday, another semi overturned along Highway 97 at Blewett Pass, spilling a 56,000-pound load of apples onto the highway and into the ditch.

No injuries were reported in either of the crashes.
