SEATTLE -- Seattle Humane is waving adoption fess for black cats on Black Friday.
On Nov. 25, prospective owners can visit the shelter from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and take home any black cat for free.
The shelter says it wants to promote black cats because they traditionally spend a longer time in the shelters before being adopted, though they are often the most expressive.
Usually, adoption fees range from $25 to $125, depending on the cat's age.
The shelter also has several other cats available for adoption in a variety of colors. You can visit the shelter at 13212 Southeast Eastgate Way in Bellevue, or visit them on their website here.
