Seahawks' Russell Wilson, Ciara to invest in Portland's campaign for MLB team

PORTLAND, Ore. – Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife, singer Ciara, plan to invest in a campaign to bring a Major League Baseball team to Portland.

Wilson posted about their commitment on Twitter Friday morning.

Wilson and Ciara plan to visit Portland on Saturday to announce their investment and anticipated ownership.

The local management group Portland Diamond Project will hold a special media event where the two will discuss their ownership and investment in the campaign.
