SEATTLE - Police and medics responded to several calls about naked people acting out in public in Seattle overnight and early Thursday.
Police dispatchers first received reports of two naked people at City Hall Park in downtown Seattle as temperatures dipped into the mid-50s.
A third naked person was reported to dispatchers shortly after that. The exact location was unclear, but it was believed to be somewhere in central Seattle.
Then, at about 6:30 a.m., police received a report of a naked man acting out in West Seattle.
Several patrol officers responded and found the man in the middle of 34th Avenue SW near West Seattle Elementary School.
KOMO's Denise Whitaker, who was passing through the area on her way back to the station from covering an unrelated story, said the man was lying in the street flailing his arms and legs in a bizarre way.
Medics arrived soon afterward. They strapped him into a gurney and put him into an ambulance.
The KOMO News team occasionally hears scanner reports of naked people in public - but this may be the first time there have been four in one night.
