It's officially back to school now for students in the Tukwila, Puyallup and Longview school districts - after striking teachers hammered out deals for higher pay over the weekend.

Teachers will still be walking the picket lines, though, in Centralia, Tumwater, Battle Ground and Tacoma.

On Friday, the Tacoma School District announced it was asking a state agency to conduct a fact-finding hearing that would lead to non-binding arbitration.

    It's a rare move.

The Tacoma teachers union says they aren't sure how long the process will take. In the meantime, Tacoma public schools remain closed.
