BELLEVUE, Wash. - A man and woman were injured in a rollover crash caused by a hit-and-run driver Thursday morning on State Route 520 in Bellevue, the Washington State Patrol reports.

Troopers and medics responded to the scene, in the eastbound lanes of the highway near the 124th Avenue NE exit, after receiving reports of a serious rollover crash.

A wrecked pickup was found on its side with an injured, unconscious woman trapped inside. An injured man was found outside the vehicle. Firefighters extricated the woman from the pickup and both patients were taken to local hospitals.

Troopers at the scene said the pickup was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle that kept going after the crash. No description of that vehicle was immediately available.

S.R. 520 is partially blocked at the crash scene during the cleanup and investigation of the crash.
