Man in critical condition after Renton shooting, police look for suspected gunman
RENTON, Wash -- A 38-year-old man is in critical condition Sunday afternoon after being shot several times outside a bar in Renton, according to a Renton Police press release.
Officers received reports of a shooting about 1:15 a.m. Sunday outside the Williams Avenue Pub in the 200 block of Williams Avenue South.
When officers arrived, they found the victim in the parking lot near the bar and transported him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Authorities believe the victim and the man who reportedly shot him were arguing before the shooting.
Police are asking for the public's help finding the suspected shooter and for any information related to the shooting.
The suspected gunman is described as 6 feet tall, in his 20s and between 160 to 170lbs. His hair is described as dreadlocked with a possible receding hairline. He was reported to be wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
The motive for the shooting is unclear at this time.
Police have not said whether any arrests have been made in the shooting.
