Man shot multiple times outside Kent apartments; suspect arrested

KENT, Wash. - A man is clinging to life Wednesday after he was shot multiple times outside a Kent apartment complex overnight, police said. A second man is in custody.

Officers and medics responded to the scene, the Rock Creek Landing apartment complex at 1024 Central Ave North, at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday after receiving reports of shots fired.

A man was found at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Harborview Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.

A preliminary investigation found that two men were arguing outside the apartment building when one of them pulled out a gun and shot the other man several times.

Police arrested the suspect. The investigation continues.
