SEATTLE - Police are gathering information after a man was shot in the chest by a crossbow in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
The Seattle Fire Department said the man, who is in his 30's, was in critical condition when crews rushed him to the hospital.
Police responded to the scene near a homeless encampment in the 800 block of Bellevue Pl E. The call came in shortly before 12:20 p.m.
According to police, the man had been involved in an altercation with another man, who reportedly shot him with the crossbow before leaving the area. No arrests have been made.
