SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. - Interstate 90 has reopened in both directions across Snoqualmie Pass after crews cleared multiple collisions and spin-outs, the state Department of Transportation reports.
Traction tires are still advised after 14 inches of snow fell overnight across the pass.
Transportation officials say westbound I-90 remains closed at Ellensburg until 7 p.m. Tuesday. Drivers will be detoured to Cle Elum via U.S. 97 and S.R. 970, adding about 30 minutes of extra travel time.
Snoqualmie Pass has received a total of 68 inches of snow so far this snow season.
Of that total, 50 1/2 inches have fallen since Dec. 9, and 41 inches remain on the ground.
