Hwy. 507 closed near Roy by semi-truck crash

ROY, Wash. - Highway 507 is closed near Roy by a collision between a semi truck and one other vehicle, the Washington State Patrol reports.

State troopers and medics responded to the scene at around 6 a.m. after receiving reports of a two-vehicle crash.

A jackknifed semi and a truck were found blocking the highway. Minor injuries were reported.

Tow trucks are responding to the scene, but troopers say the roadway is likely to remain closed thorugh about 8:30 a.m.

According to initial reports from the scene, the accident was caused by unsafe passing, the State Patrol reports.
