Husband kills wife then shoots himself at SeaTac home
SEATAC, Wash. - A man shot and killed his wife then shot himself in the face at a home in SeaTac Friday night, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to the home near S. 160th St. and 39th Lane S. just before 8 p.m. for reports of shots fired.
They arrived to find a man and woman with gunshot wounds.
The wife died at the scene. The husband was taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition, but is expected to survive.
The couple's teenage son and the man's mother were also inside the home, but were not hurt.
Detectives have not yet said what led up to the shooting. Investigators said the couple was apparently in the middle of a divorce.
