Health officials: Contagious measles patient at Amazon last week

SEATTLE -- The local health department says a man and infant in King County have confirmed cases of measles and may have exposed others in public locations while contagious.

Among other places visited were two Amazon buildings.

The patients are a 6-month-old and the infant's father. They recently traveled to Asia and were not immunized against measles.

Most people have been immunized against measles, so the risk to the public is low, health officials said. If you were at the locations listed below during the times listed, health officials say you should find out if you have been vaccinated or had the measles. You should call a doctor if you develop an illness with fever or an unexplained rash between March 21 and April 8. Don't go to a clinic or hospital without calling first to say you want to be evaluated for measles. That can help to prevent the disease from spreading.

Health officials say that before they were diagnosed with measles, the two infected people visited these public locations. If you were there at these times, you could have been exposed.
