Man with Alzheimer's who walked away from S. King County home found safe
AUBURN, Wash. -- UPDATE: A 78-year-old man with Alzheimer's disease who walked away from his home Monday morning, has been found safe in Tukwila, according to the King County Sheriff's office.
The sheriff's office said Yoeun Dom is doing fine and will be reunited with his family.
He went missing about 7:30 a.m. Monday in the area of his home near South 300th Street and 34th Avenue South in the Lake Dolloff area, near Auburn and Federal Way.
He does not have access to a car and does not speak English. He has never walked away from home before.
He is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. He has white hair. He was wearing a black jacket and black pants.
