Five-vehicle crash on I-5; driver runs away
SEATTLE -- A driver who caused a crash that involved five vehicles and blocked several lanes of Interstate 5 Sunday morning ran away from the scene, the Washington State Patrol says.
The crash occurred at 5:15 a.m. Sunday at the King-Pierce County line.
A car going south hit the rear of a pickup. The pickup driver lost control, hit the jersey barrier and went into the northbound lanes.
Three cars in the northbound lanes were hit.
The driver who started the accident ran away and is at large.
There were no serious injuries.
The crash was cleared at 9:15 a.m.
