Fire destroys abandoned home in Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD, Wash. - A fire destroyed an abandoned home in Lynnwood Friday night.

The fire broke out just after 9:00 p.m. at the home in the 15900 block of Manner Way.

Firefighters from South Snohomish Fire and Rescue arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames.

The fire appears to have gutted the home, but crews were able were able to keep the fire from spreading to a nearby motor home and propane tanks.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the fire, but they believe squatters many have been living inside.
