FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Federal Way police are investigating after a 25-year-old man was shot and killed in Federal Way on Christmas Day.
The murder happened around 8:41 p.m. at thePavilion Apartment Homes, located at 1900 SW Campus Dr., according to the Federal Way Police Department (FWPD).

Another neighbor who wanted to remain anonymous shared they saw the victim talking to someone in a gray car in the moments leading up to the shooting.
"My dad heard voices outside, he looked outside, and when he looked outside, the gray car shot the guy," they said, "The girl that came out of her house, she started screaming like 'Help, help' and 'Call the police' and all that."
The man was identified by family members Tuesday as Pedro Balderas of Tacoma.
Officers were dispatched to reports of gunshots at 8:41 p.m., the FWPD said, and found the man with multiple gunshot wounds.
"It’s kind of a little shocking, it makes me kind of worried what could happen out here especially if I’m just walking my dog or I’m strolling my daughter out for a walk," Black-Card said, "It’s kind of unnerving to hear what went on, I just don’t really feel too comfortable."
Detectives are investigating the homicide, police said. So far, they have not released a suspect description of who they're looking for.
