SEATTLE – A 24-year-old Everett man has been charged federally for possession of a stolen firearm in connection with a high-powered rifle taken from a Seattle Police vehicle during a riot in downtown Seattle in May, according to the U.S Attorney's office.

Court documents show that Jacob Little was captured by Seattle Police surveillance photos with a large bag issued by the police department used to store a Colt M4 rifle with a suppressor. The rifle has not been recovered.

Seattle Police investigators say they found images online that allegedly show Little removing the bag from a Seattle Police vehicle parked outside the downtown Nordstrom store. The vehicles were heavily damaged and burned by rioters.

Electronic messages also show that Little allegedly appeared to negotiate the sale of the firearm, according to court documents.
