Everett cops seek projectile-firing PT Cruiser, ask public's help

Surveillance cam photo released by police shows a PT Cruiser believed to be involved in an attack that damaged an Everett school building.

EVERETT, Wash. - Police are asking for the public's help in finding a car linked to an attack that damaged an Everett school building.

The car, believed to be a 2010 PT Cruiser with a missing hubcap from the front passenger's side wheel, was captured on surveillance video.

Police say the car drove past the south side of the Everett School District CRC building at 3900 Broadway at about 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 13, and an unknown occupant of the vehicle fired a projectile at the building. The projectile shattered one of the windows of the building.

Anyone with information about the incident or who knows the owner of the PT Cruiser is asked to call the Everett Police Department's tip line at (425) 257-8450 or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS.
