SEATTLE — Delta flight 589 from Seattle to Shanghai returned to Seattle Tuesday night due to "lavatory maintenance issues," according to a spokesperson with Delta.
The flight, which has 190 customers onboard, will redepart for Shanghai after a replacement aircraft and crew are ready.
"We apologize for any inconvenience to our customers onboard. The well-being of our customers and crew is always our top priority," says a spokesperson with Delta.
According to Flight Aware, the plane took off from Seattle at 12:46 p.m. and landed back in Seattle at 6:11 p.m.
