SUNNYSIDE, Wash. - Police say a longtime employee of a Sunnyside dairy farm stole more than 30 cows and sold them for his own profit.

Victoriano Arroyo appeared in court Tuesday after police say he stole more than 30 cows from J and K Dairy in Sunnyside and sold them at the Toppenish livestock yard.

Arroyo is a former employee of the dairy farm whose job was to transport cows to the auction yard.

Police say Arroyo has been stealing and selling cattle for more than three years and has made over $30,000 off the cows.

He is charged with more than 30 counts of theft of livestock.
