Cancer survivor Sarai Lara identified as victim in Cascade mall shooting
Five people were shot to death at the Cascade Mall in Burlington Friday night.
One of victims, identified Saturday as Sarai Lara, was a 16-year-old cancer survivor, friends of the victim tell us.
"She was a strong girl, she told me a lot about her life and I trusted her with everything," the friend told KOMO News. "She gave me advice and helped me through a lot. She told me about (losing) her hair and everything."
A second victim, Belinda Galde, was confirmed by the Snohomish County District Court late Saturday night. Galde worked at the court since 1989.
"[Belinda] was an amazingly kind and caring individual who was much adored by her friends, her co-workers and the thousands of probationers who she helped find a better way to live," a statement from the Snohomish County District Court said.
"She had such grace and patience," said defense attorney David Jolly. "She was accommodating and a very nice person."

The Lake Stevens New Spot says he was a longtime Boeing maintenance worker.
The identities of the remaining victims were withheld by officials pending autopsies and notification of family. .
The Skagit County coroner expects to release victim information on Tuesday.
