The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) said a 24-year-old Seattle man is in custody after he reportedly stole a car at gunpoint and crashed it.

Deputies responded to the robbery at the Thrasher Corner shopping center in Bothell around 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 10. A man told deputies that his Audi A4 was stolen at gunpoint with his Cavapoo puppy in the vehicle.

Officers were able to track the stolen vehicle through the Audi app and found it in a nearby neighborhood. The man inside the stolen vehicle tried to drive away from police hitting two police vehicles in the process.

He then hit a parked car, causing the Audi to flip.
