BELLEVUE, Wash. - A challenging house fire in Bellevue kept firefighters busy overnight - with flames so intense that part of the roof collapsed.
Crews responded to the scene, in the 2700 block of 142nd Place NE, at around 10 p.m. Saturday after receiving reports of smoke and flames at the home.
The fire was mainly burning in the attic, but investigators don't yet know how - or where - it started.
Firefighters kept monitoring hotspots at the house for hours after they knocked out the flames.
The homeowner says everyone made it out safely.
