
AUBURN, Wash. — Police in Auburn were searching for clues after a man was shot Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
The victim, whose identity was pending, was rushed for treatment to Harborview Medical Center but information about his condition was pending.
A spokesperson for Valley Regional Fire Authority said paramedics were called toto I Street NE and 22nd Street NE in Auburn shortly before 12:45 p.m. for a report of gunfire.

It was not immediately clear if the victim knew the person who shot them or what led up the gunfire.
Several police officers responded to the scene to gather evidence in the area, which appeared to be a residential neighborhood.
