TACOMA, WA - - Two people were shot to death in the McKinley neighborhood in Tacoma on Sunday evening, police said.
Shortly before 5 p.m. police responded to a call in the 1300 block of East 35th Street. When they arrived, officers found two men, both dead, with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
Investigators said they don't know if the victims were shot where the bodies were found. Both were found outside.
“Not a lot of information on shots being fired or sounds. Nobody heard any argument or anything. Nobody saw any cars driving away,” said Loretta Cool with the Tacoma Police Department.
Forensics experts were on the scene Sunday night gathering evidence. The names of the victims were not released.
Neighbors told KOMO News they don’t believe the two men lived in the neighborhood, but could have come from the homeless encampment that sits on the bordering hillside.
Officers did not recover any weapons at the scene and have no suspects at this time.
Cool said if you have any information surrounding this apparent shooting to call Tacoma Police.
