2 killed, 2 hurt in crash near Lake Stevens
LAKE STEVENS, Wash. -- Two people were killed in a car crash that shut down State Route 9 for several hours Wednesday night just north of Lake Stevens.
One car headed eastbound on E. Sunnyside Road ran a stop sign and broadsided another car going north on SR 9, according to the Washington State Patrol. The force of the crash killed the driver of that car and seriously injured a passenger.
The driver of the car that ran the stop sign also died and a passenger was also seriously hurt.
